The 4th Arts Alive! Awards Celebration will be held Saturday, November 10th, 2007.  This special event honors individuals and groups that enrich our lives by their participation in arts and cultural activities.  This fabulous evening will shine the spotlight on those who help make our community sparkle with creativity.

We want you to be a part of this special evening by donating your time to create a "box" for the exciting Out of the Box Auction.  The definition of "box" is open to your interpretation.  It could be a traditional lidded box, a shadowbox, a painting or photograph of a box, jewelry in a box - be creative!

This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your talents and gain name recognition. Your box will be a featured part of the evening in our silent auction. Over the years, these fabulous boxes have become collector's items for Arts Alive! patrons. The boxes will also be displayed before the event in a special Out of the Box Exhibition from October 5-November 3, 2007 at Summit Artspace Gallery. In addition to your tax-deductible contribution, you will recieve a one-year membership to the Akron Area Arts Alliance. CLICK HERE to download a participation form now. We need your commitment to contribute a box no later than September 3, 2007.
